What changes in the office
Nothing gets typed in twice.
Whoever runs your desk is on this all day and is already fast on whatever they use now. So the question is what it takes off them.
- The load gets written twice
- It arrives from the gate already made. Nothing is re-keyed off a pad and nothing sits in a pile waiting to be entered.
- Somebody is asking about a load and you cannot find it
- One box takes whatever they know — the code off the slip, a name, the van, or just the metal — and searches the loads waiting and the ones already done.
- A load gets priced at nothing
- An unpriced metal says needs a price where the money would be. It never shows £0.00.
- Somebody gets paid whose ID was not right
- The ID is checked before a payment can be made. Documents about to run out show up before the next visit, not after the payout.
- The council asks for the registers
- Pick the dates and print. Both statutory registers come out as one pack, and the metal book prints a metal to a page.
- A mistake gets made and cannot be put right
- A load taken in error is crossed out. It keeps every fact that was on it, with a name against the correction. Nothing is erased.
Paying sellers
You pay from your own bank, exactly as you do now. The app does not touch the money and cannot move it.
What it records is how the seller was paid, the reference, and who paid them. There is no cash option, and no setting that adds one.
Reports are opened, not emailed
You open a report when you want to look at it, and it is right at the moment you open it. Nothing arrives in an inbox: there is no weekly summary and no emailed report.
If you were expecting reports to land in your email, say so before you buy. It is not something the app does today, and we would rather tell you now.
