Defra

For permitted sites with waste tracking set up, completing a load normally puts its waste record in the queue for Defra. See what Defra has accepted and what needs attention.

What this covers

A yard can choose to queue records when the gate sends the load instead. A record waiting to send has not been accepted yet. Missing details or a service problem can hold it up. ScrapLog does not send records for a site set up with an exemption. Transfer notes, consignment notes and returns still apply where required.

How waste tracking works

Xero

Connect Xero and choose the accounts for purchases and charges. A completed purchase can then go to Xero as a bill. Send automatically or choose when to send.
